The department of Marathi was established in 1998. Marathi is introduced to F.Y.B.A and B.Com. as a general subject whereas It is a special subject for S.Y. and T.Y.B.A. Vyavharik Marathi is introduced to  S.Y. B.sc.students. The faculty always engages in research activities and publication.
